Jay-Z was born on the 4th of December 1969 to the Black American Family of Adnis Reeves and Gloria Carter. His real name is Shawn Corey Carter. He has three siblings named, Eric Cater, Andrea Carter, and Michelle Carter.

Jay-Z and his siblings were born and raised in Brooklyn, New York City. He and his family were raised in Marcy Houses, which was a housing project located in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood.
